D CRAZE is a hip hop artist from Bulawayo who’s music background stretches all the way back dated 2013.He had being a passionate youngster from his high school days, however in the year 2017 thus when he had to direct his energy, fully into his music career.
Speaking of his music journey, the artist has a couple of singles that have paved him a limelight spot in the city. ” l got couple singles out, Into zakhona, Lit Life, Now or Never, Weekend,” he said.
He added, ” I have worked with Zimhiphop award winning rapper ‘GunXdaphoraoh’ on lit life record and other talented hip-hop artist from the city such as Rockie doUb, Tariq Bravo ,uSmokey joint, Real_i’ance, O.j Craig amongst others.”
D Craze is an independent artist who is currently working on my first studio EP titled “Recognition EP”. Breaking down the project he said, ” when I say recognition I mean being recognized by other platforms such as shows, radios playing my songs ,doing radio interviews pushing my name more. I have managed to perform on big hip-hop shows in the city – Bigger Than Hip-hop 2018, Bigger Than Hip Hop 2019, Changamire Hip hop festival 2018 and Miss Malaika 2020. I feel like I need to do more.”
Recognition EP gat 5 songs namely “Lit Life, Low Key, Phases Of Life, Memories and Top Dawg. All songs produced by Real_i’ance. The project has some beautiful features – names like GunxDaPharoah, O.J Craig, Realiance, Uno X.O and Lamas Ellz.
” The motivation of doing this E.P is that I always wanted to have solid project on my name because I have been in the game for long a time just dropping singles, so I was like let me do my Ep. As time goes on I will do an album. I dropped a single last year from my EP ‘lit life’ and the single is available on SoundCloud & YouTube. I will be dropping Low key on the 30th of July with an official video…As for the whole project I will be dropping it August and it will be available online for pre-order,” he said.
