New date and venue has been set for the postponed Bulawayo Hip Hop Summit which was supposed to take place on the 25th of the previous month.
The much hyped and anticipated inaugural Bulawayo Summit which was cancelled at the 11th hour following the arrest of the founder and host Mc Tytoh has been given a new lease of life. A new date, which is the 15th of May 2021 has been announced as the day hip-hop practitioners and enthusiasts will converge at the YWCA conference center in the CBD.
Diary is to share ideas and have a conversation on issues pertaining creative craft with the main agenda being how to monetize one’s talent. According to Mc Tytoh almost all the facilitators have recommitted to sharing their knowledge through presentations on the new date announced.
Clearly his arrest has not deterred the veteran rapper/producer cum broadcaster who over the weekend teamed up with YOUNG AMBASSADORS AFRICA, a youth NGO. The parties visited the young boys at “Emthunzini Wethemba” where they dropped a few clothing items to keep the boys warm this winter.
Rap duo Killemol joined them and provided entertainment for the young lads who showed so much interest in hip-hop. The visitors met two boys who performed their track as well.
Under the Bulawayo Hip-Hop Summit #PROJECTXXI , Mc Tytoh has pledged to help the duo at the orphanage shoot a video for their single and also play their music on his flagship show THE HIPHOP CONNECTION on the Connect online radio.
