With many of the 2020 nominees and award winners already in the studio working on their 2021 projects, MTV Africa Music Awards nominated rapper ASAPH says he is under no pressure at all to drop an album this year.

This follows a successful run in 2020 where he made the cut across all major awards without an album .While hip hop fans have their ears to the ground following release news from R peels, Holy Ten and the duo of Criss swiss and The Dot .

The Northend born rapper’s decision not to release an album this year will definitely break a lot of hearts as he has flown the city and nation`s flags high and many anticipated the MAMBO hit maker to follow up his fine run with an album.

Speaking during a live interview on “THE“THE HIPHOP CONNECTION” on the connect online radio Station the 29 year old rapper said next year is a whole new step in his life journey and ┬ábeing 30 should bring about a different dimension and growth to his brand, he says an album is a big deal for him at this stage as he feels he has a whole lot more to offer in different flavors hence the decision to give us singles and also do as many features as he can to end his 20s in style which will be capped with a BURG boys reunion.

We are dropping a BURG BOYS EP with visuals, this is something hip-hop fans should look forward to…” the artist said.
